How 30 alumni meet 60 students in 2 hours...

The PUB/MGM Career Panel Evening is one of the more informal events organised by PUB/MGM Alumni.

• For the students, who are starting their professional career, it is a unique opportunity to explore opportunities and learn from mixed and selected alumni's experiences.
• For the alumni, it is a refreshing opportunity to have an informal chat with the Vlerick 2010-2011 Class Masters in General Management (Leuven and Gent) and fellow alumni.

The evening itself:

• 19h30: Welcome and briefing
• The alumni are served a light sandwich meal, after which they're devided into 10 panels
• The students receive a brief presentation of MGM Alumni, after which they receive their personal schedule
• 20h00 - 22h00: 3 discussion sessions (3-6 students >< 2-4 alumni) take place in the breakout sessions. To break the ice, each session is opened by the alumni, presenting themselves briefly, after which the students are invited to start a discussion on any topic. Generally, the students are particularly interested in important choices and changes in the alumni's careers.
• 22h00-23h00: closing reception with all students & alumni

In preparation of the evening:

• Alumni are invited and provide some information on their current job and career path.
• This information can be consulted by the students, who can then indicate which alumni they would like to meet.

• Tuesday, 8th of February 2011: Gent Athos, Reep 1 (Parking 'Reep' Advised)
• thurssday, 17th of February, 2011: Leuven Aramis, Vlamingenstraat 83 (Parking 'Heilig Hart')
